A William IV mahogany portable water closet by Marriott, the hinged lid to an interior with brass fittings and a turned cover to a pearlware blue and white pan inscribed 'MARRIOTT PATENTEE 26 LUDGATE HILL and 89 FLEET St. LONDON' and 'BY HIS MAJESTY'S ROYAL LETTERS PATENT, MARRIOTT'S PATENT WATER CLOSET'S'. seen in Lady Georgiana's Dressing Room
Known briefly as the Yellow Dressing Room in 1825. This room was always used as Lady Carlisle's Dressing Room.
